The file contains:;a) two copies of a bronze medal by André Vauthier-Galle, diameter 50 mm. On the obverse a bust to left, around the scientist's name, below the bust the name of the artist. On the reverse a long inscription with biographical details: Né à Beaune 1746, Mem.bre de l'Académie..., around oak leaves. At the edge: Bronze, on one copy also: France.;b) a bronze medal by E. Gatteaux, diamter 40 mm. On the obverse a bust to left, around the scientist's name, below the bust the name of the artist. On the reverse the inscription: Né à Beaune en M.DCC.XLVI. mort en M.DCCC.XVIII. Galerie metallique des grands hommes Francais. 1822. At the edge: Bronze, France.
