Arthur Schnitzler (Vienna 1862 - Vienna 1931, Vienna) was a leading Austrian author and dramatist. His short novel "Traumnovelle" belongs to the most important litarary works of the Viennese circle in the first half of the 20th century. Hetty Landstone was Schnitzler's translator into English during the last years of his life. |

The collection was permanently deposited in the National Library of Israel in 1982 by Eran Laor. Until 2012 it was kept in the Schwandron autograph collection, and became subsequently an archival fonds of its own. |
