Scope and content לוח אלף בית לראשית לימוד הקריאה. נדפס בצד אחד של הדף. כולל גם פרשה ראשונה של קריאת שמע, קיצור "קדושה", ברכות שונות, "תורה צוה לנו משה", "השכיבנו", ותפילות נוספות. במרכז העמוד ציור: כיתת לימוד של תינוקות של בית רבן, למעלה מלאך משליך פירות לתלמידים הטובים, ובצד שמאל המלמד מאיים בשוט על התלמיד הרע.
As is the case with most Hebrew alphabet charts, the twenty-seven letters (twenty-two regular and five final-form) are each shown with multiple possible vocalizations, used as a teaching aide for learning Hebrew. Also includes the first paragraph of the Shema, an abridged version of the Kedushah, and various blessings, Psalms, and other short prayers, with instructions in Ladino. In the center is a woodcut illustration of a school scene, with an angel above showering treats upon attentive students and, at left, a teacher punishing an unruly pupil. With decorative elements.
