Biographical summary "שויתי" הם לרוב לוחות המשמשים בבית הכנסת בקהילות יהודיות מסוימות ככלי עזר להגות בשם האל. על פי רוב הם ממוקמים מעל העמוד - הדוכן שמעליו מנוהלת התפילה על ידי החזן, על הפרוכת או על שטיח קיר על גבי כותל המזרח, או בעמוד מאויר מיוחד בסידור. מסורת זו מבוססת על הפסוק מספר תהילים: "שויתי ה' לנגדי תמיד" (ט"ז, ח). כתיבת "שיוויתי" הייתה נהוגה לא רק כקישוט לבית הכנסת, אלא גם כדף המופץ בין המתפללים ומוחזק בסידור התפילה.
Ownership history האוסף נרכש ממקורות שונים החל משנת 1965.
שני פריטים הועברו מאוסף של הרי פרידנולד, 2019.
