  • • צְּבִיָּה – דימוי לכנסת ישראל, לפי הדרך שנדרש שיר השירים.
    • מַה לַּצְּבִיָּה נָאֲמָה – מדוע כנסת ישראל מתלוננת:
    • לָמָּה בְגָלוּת אֶשְׁכְּבָה – מדוע אני מצויה בגלות.
    • תִּקְוָה הֲלֹא מַה נָּעֲמָה – הרי תקוות הגאולה נעימה.
    • חַכִּי פְדוּת – יחלי אל הישועה, הגאולה.
    • דַּאֲבָה – צער.
    • שׁוֹפְכִים עֲתִירָה – מתפללים.
    • לַחֲזוֹת פֶּלֶא – לראות נפלאות, כפי שהובטח בנוגע לגאולה האחרונה (מיכה ז, טו): כִּימֵי צֵאתְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אַרְאֶנּוּ נִפְלָאוֹת.
    • תָּשִׁיב שְׁבוּתָם – השב אותם לארצם, כפי שהובטח בדברים ל, ג: וְשָׁב ה' אֱלֹהֶיךָ אֶת שְׁבוּתְךָ וְרִחֲמֶךָ וְשָׁב וְקִבֶּצְךָ מִכָּל הָעַמִּים אֲשֶׁר הֱפִיצְךָ ה' אֱלֹהֶיךָ שָׁמָּה.
