Haifa, founded in October 1924, was a weekly workers’ magazine that defended the rights of workers and peasants in Palestine. The owner and editor-in-chief was Elia Zaka. The magazine was printed at Al-Nafir's press in Haifa. The newspaper covered everything related to the workers’ affairs and rights. In its first issue, the newspaper published the following mission statement: “The sole purpose of this magazine is to take care of workers and the hardships they have to go through in their daily struggle with life.”
