Al-Sarkha was an illustrated political satirical magazine that was published weekly in Jaffa. The managing editor was Fawzi Rashid al-Shanti. The editors of al-Sarkha did not follow any strict editorial line, preferring to publish articles that represented a variety of approaches to a variety of topics, such as politics, society, and culture. One of the paper’s important sections was “This Week in the World – This Week in Palestine.”
