⁨⁨Al-Salam⁩ - ⁨السلام⁩⁩

Al-Salam (Peace) was a daily newspaper that was sometimes issued two or three times a week. The owner and editor-in-chief was Nissim Malul; Malul was also an editor for Al-Akhbar. The newspaper moved its headquarters across the country: it was published first in Jaffa, then Jerusalem, then Haifa, until it returned to Jerusalem before ceasing publication in 1931. In its inaugural editorial, Malul mentioned an earlier intention to be issued in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, in 1910, but the plan did not come to fruition. The newspaper carried aloft the banner of peace between people and nations, and resolved to publish its message of peace in all of its issues and publications.
