Al-Akhlaq (Ethics) was a monthly literary, social, historical, and humor magazine. The owner and manager was Daoud Kurdi, and the editor-in-chief was Father Gabriel Rahal. The first issue was published on January 1, 1932. The magazine was printed at the French Fathers’ Press in Jerusalem. Its headquarters was located in the Maronite Endowment in the city. The magazine dealt primarily with ideas and ethics. This is clearly manifested in its motto: “Ethics is the unmatched medicine and effective treatment without which nothing can be cured.”
