Ff. 1r-14v: Epistola Rabbi Samuelis missa Rabbi Isaac (written in the year 1000 and transl. from Arabic by Alphonsus Bonihominis, OP, 1339). Incipit: Reverendissimo in Christo patri fratri Hugoni, magistro ordinis praedicatorum dignissimo et sacrae paginae professoris ejus subditus Alphonsus Bonihominis Yspanus. Ff. 15r-16v: Blank. Ff. 17r-38r: Disputatio inter Ingetum Otardum, mercatorem Januensem, et Judaeos (Majorca, 1286). Incipit: Contingit quod quidam Judeus qui publice vocabatur Rabbi qui et ipse erat magister Judeorum ... Thick brownish paper with half cut watermark. Margins: 23, 38, 22, 25 mm. Ruled in lead point (bounding lines: 1 and 1 vert., 1 and 1 hor.). Text space 161 x 198 mm. 1 col., 39 lines written in brown ink, set above top line. 2 hands, one for each treatise. Various corrections. Foliation is modern, in grey pencil in the right upper cner. Catchword. Collation: I16, II10, III12. 2-3-line alternatively red and blue initials, sometimes with simple penwork. Red rubrics and paragraph signs, capitals touched by red. Binding: 232 x 157 mm. Modern yellow parchment over cardboards. At the spine in brown ink: Epistola R. Samuelis - Disputatio Majoricae - 1286. To the second rear flyleaf is attached a letter written in 28.04.1939 by F. Baer to H. Friedenwald. |
