| השיר נכתב והולחן בשנת תרצ"ה (1934-1935). הוא שולב בחיזיון "נשף לביבות" מאת לוין קיפניס. לפי מילות השיר, הלביבה של אותה תקופה היתה מתוקה, ולא היתה עשויה מתפוחי אדמה אלא מקמח. גם הלביבה בשירו של ביאליק, "לכבוד החנוכה", היתה "חמה ומתוקה". |
