  • השיר "הללויה, אמן" הוא שיר הסיום מתוך האופרה "יהודה המכבי" שכתב תומאס מורל והלחין גיאורג פרידריך הנדל בשנת 1746, המובא כאן בתרגום אהרון אשמן, שתרגם את האופרה לעברית בשנות החמישים של המאה העשרים.
    הנדל החל לכתוב את הלחן בתקופה בה התרחש מרד היעקוביטים בצפון אנגליה, וכאשר חזר הנסיך ויליאם אוגוסטוס מקרב הניצחון של דיכוי המרד, בשנת 1745, סיים הנדל לכתוב את היצירה והקדיש אותה לנסיך, כאות התפעלות והוקרה על נצחונו, תוך שהוא משווה בין גדולתו של הנסיך לגדלותו של יהודה המכבי.
    האופרה, שנחשבת לאחת המפורסמות ביותר של הנדל, קנתה לה מקום של כבוד בתרבות העברית, שאימצה את סיפור ניצחון המכבים בקרבות מול לגיונות יווניים בתקופת בית שני כרעיון מכונן לתקומת העם היהודי בארצו במאה העשרים. שיר מפורסם נוסף מתוך אופרה זו נקרא "הנה הוא בא", שלנעימתו כתב לוין קיפניס מילים חדשות והפך אותו לשיר החנוכה המוכר: "הבה נרימה אש ואבוקה".
