השיר "נומה בן" הולחן על ידי משה וילנסקי, למילותיו של נתן אלתרמן, בשנת 1939 והינו שיר ערש המספר על דמויות אנושיות וחיות שיומן מגיע לסופו והן שוכבות לישון. השיר נכתב במקור עבור ההצגה "הדובון והזאב השודד" שהועלתה בישראל בשנת 1940 (במקור " Rupert and the Robber Wolf"), שנכתבה על ידי מארי טורטל ותורגמה על ידי אברהם אבן שושן מן השפה האנגלית. ההצגה כללה שיר מפורסם נוסף של וילנסקי – "שעון בן חיל". בשנת 1985 כתבה המלחינה צלינה לפובסקי לחן חדש למילות השיר, עם שינויי נוסח קלים. |
