  • להקת "בצל ירוק" היתה גלגול אזרחי של להקת הנח"ל, עם מיטב כוכבי הלהקה: ברקו, אריק איננשטיין, אורי זוהר, חיים טופול, נחמה הנדל, אילנה רובינא, אברהם מור, עליזה קאשי, גליה טופול, נירה עדי ועוד.

    "בקומדיה של אפרים קישון, "אף מילה למורגנשטיין", מופיעים גם סטודנטים במחלקה לגיאוגרפיה באוניברסיטה העברית, הלומדים על דרום אמריקה אצל פרופ' שולטהייס הקפדן, כשנתבקשתי לכתוב את כל הפזמונים למחזמר ("בצל ירוק", 1958, הלחינו משה וילנסקי וסשה ארגוב) החלטתי לכתוב פזמון דווקא על ונצואלה, גם מפני שרציתי להפתיע אז סטודנטית בשם אלה, שמצאה חן בעיני. לא ידענו אז הרבה על ונצואלה, והוצאתי מן האנציקלופדיה כמה מילים לועזיות ארוכות, מוזיקליות, כמו "אמזונס", "אורינוקו", "אנקונדה" או "קריפיטיו". רק מאוחר יותר - ואחרי שהטעיתי בשוגג שתי קבוצות סטודנטים, לגיאוגרפיה ולזואולוגיה - נסתבר לי שהאורינוקו אינו משתפך לאמזונס, ושנחשי האנקונדה ממיתים בחנק ולא בהכשה."
