  • השיר זכה בפרס ראשון בפסטיבל הזמר והפזמון בסגנון עדות המזרח תשל"ב (1971). את השיר ביצע ששי קשת. מטרת הפסטיבל היתה לתת ביטוי אומנותי וייצוג חברתי, לטעמו המוסיקלי של ציבור יוצאי ארצות ערב בישראל. בסופו של דבר השירים נכתבו והולחנו על ידי כל שכבות הציבור אשכנזים ומזרחיים כאחד. כמו כן המבצעים היו מכל העדות.
