השיר "אדאג'יו" נכתב על ידי המלחין האיטלקי בן המאה ה-18, תומאזו אלבינוני ועובד לגרסת פופ אופראית בשנת 1945 על ידי רימו ג'יאזוטו, על בסיס מקטע ישן יותר של אלבינוני שנקרא אדאג'יו בסול מינור. בקרב חוקרי מוסיקה ניטש ויכוח עד היום באשר לאמיתות ההסטורית של טענתו של ג'יאזוטו, אשר לדבריו מצא את השיר המקורי של אלבינוני וביסס עליו את גרסתו המחודשת. בעברית, זכה השיר לביצוע של יבגני שפולוב ושלומית אהרון בו שרים הצמד בעברית ובאיטלקית ואותו ממשיכה אהרון להופיע בליווי זמרי אופרה שונים לאורך השנים. |
