| שיר זה הוא הורה, צורה ריקודית-מוסיקלית שמקורה בריקוד ממסורת הכליזמר היהודי הנקרא "פריילכס". ההורה הגיעה לארץ עם החלוצים והפכה לחלק מרכזי ברפרטואר ששרו בני העלייה השנייה והשלישית כשהם רקדו יחד במעגל. עם הזמן נכתבו מילים עבריות חדשות לריקודים אלה ומאוחר יותר הולחנו שירי הורה שהיו בעלי מאפיינים מוסיקליים דומים (סינקופות רבות ומנעד רחב). |
