	"צִיל, צִיל, צִיל!" צִלְצֵל הַצֹּאן צְלִיל עֶרֶב, עַל צַוְּארֵי כְּבָשִׂים צִלְצֵל. רַן חָלִיל! רַן: "לִי, לִי, לִי!" רַן חָלִיל: "לִי לִי" - עֵת צֵאת לָעֵין וּשְׁתוֹת! בִּפְאַת הַכְּפָר לְיַד הָעֵין רָקְדוּ רִקֵּדוּ רוֹעִים גַּם שׁוֹאֲבוֹת, צָהַל הַצֹּאן. קְנֵה חָלִיל גַּם תֹּף בְּאוֹן הִכּוּ, צִלְצֵלוּ שִׁקְשֵׁק הָעֵין, "צִיל, צִיל!" צִלְצֵל הַצֹּאן! "שִׁיק, שִׁיק, שִׁיק!" שִׁקְשֵׁק הָעֵין עִם עֶרֶב, "צִיל, צִיל, צִיל!" הַצֹּאן צִלְצֵל! זֶמֶר כַּד, כַּד לַבַּד, זֶמֶר כַּד לַבַּת - עֵת צֵאת הַשּׁוֹאֲבוֹת!

	השיר נכתב בשנת 1947. הוא נדפס לראשונה בשנת 1951. הושר בסרט "באין מולדת", בליווי אליהו גמליאל בחליל ערבי ורחלי סלע מלהקת "ענבל" בדרבוקה. [מתוך אתר "זמרשת"]
