| השיר היה משירי החלוצים הנודעים ביותר ואף הודפס על גבי גלויות 'משירי מולדת' משנת 1932 אחת מסדרה שהוציאה הקרן הקיימת לישראל והפיצה בגולה כחלק מן ההסברה הציונית. השיר הפך למוכר ברוסיה ואף כיכב בסרט על יהודים בבירוביז'ן. זהו אחד המקרים הבודדים שבהם לחן של שיר עברי הותאם לחלק מן הליטורגיה. הלחן מושר בבתי הכנסת האשכנזיים בציבור הדתי לאומי למילות הפיוט "אל אדון על כל המעשים" בתפילת שחרית של שבת. |
