| החזן שמואל סלבסקי נחשב לאחד המבצעים הטובים ביותר של פרקי חונות. את כל חייו. מילדותו הקדיש לאמנות החזנות. עוד בהיותו נער הקליט דואטים רבים עם ידידו, החזן יוסף רוזנבלט ז"ל. במיוחד התפרסם החזן שמואל מלבסקי בשנים האחרונות. הודות לקומפוזיציות המקוריות שלו של תפילות. השכלתו וידיעותיו הנרחבות בתלמוד משתקפות ביצירותיו אלו. מקהלת המשפחה מורכבת מארבע בנותיו ושני בניו. כולם בעלי קול משובח. החזן סלבסקי אימן ופיתח את כשרונותיהם המוסיקליים של בניו עוד מילדותם. משפחה ואת שחונכה על מסורת יהודית של תורה, מצוות מעשים סיבים. הנה לכבוד למדינת ישראל. -- מתוך עטיפת התקליט.;Cantor Samuel Malavsky has been acclaimed one of the foremost interpreters of our Liturgical music: All his life, from childhood, has been devoted to the Cantorial profession. While still a youth, Cantor Malavsky was associated with the late Cantor Joseph Rosenblatt and during that time recorded many duets with his illustrious friend and colleague. In recent years Cantor Malavsky's popularity has been greatly enhanced by his original musical compositions of our Hymns and Prayers. Being a man of great learning, a great Talmudist, his compositions reflect this knowledge. The Family Choir is composed of the Cantor's four charming daughters and two sons, accomplished vocalists all. Cantor Malavky trained and developed the musical talents of his children from childhood. This family group is an honor to Israel, children raised in the Jewish tradition of Torah, Mitzvah and Meisim Tovim. -- From the record cover. |
