| שפת לאדינו, שהיא תערובת של ספרדית ועברית, דוברה במשך מאות שנים בפיהם של היהודים הספרדים שהתגוררו בארצות שמסביב לאגן הים התיכון. יהודים אלה הם צאצאיהם של היהודים שגורשו מספרד בשנת 1492. גם היום משמשת שפת לאדינו רבים מיהודי הבלקן, טורקיה, וישראל.יוסי חורי ונסים מנחם, שמשפחותיהם מוצאן, הראשונה מעיראק והשניה מתימן, הם כיום זמרי הפולקלור המפורסמים ביותר בישראל הפרברים - ושוב ושוב הם יוצאים כמנצחים בפסטיבלים של הזמר הישראלי. כאן לפנינו הם שרים את השירים שבחרו בקפדנות ובאהבה מן האוצר המתנגן של מוסיקת לאדינו.את השקדיות שתלתי למען עיניך הירוקות. את כתפי וזרועותי צמותיך יכסו..." השירה היא גלוית-לב, ללא מעצורים, חושנית וכל־ כולה מלאה סמלים ורמזים. כאבות אבותיהם, יוצרי שירת ספרד העברית, כן גם אותם משוררים אלמונים של שירי לאדינו עירבבו תמיד את שירי אהבתם בשירי אהבה ממין אחר, שירי אהבה למסורת הדת והאמונה, ולהתגלמותן בשבת. כך שרו, ועדיין הם שרים, דור אחרי דור, מרמות אנטוליה שבטורקיה ועד לפרדסי ספרד תחת יקוד החמה שבשמיים התכולים של הים התיכון.;The Ladino language, a blend of Spanish and Hebrew, has been spoken for centuries all around the Mediterranean Basin by Sephardic Jews, who are descendants of Jews exiled from Spain in 1492. Thus they sang generation after generation - from the high plains of Anatolia to the orange groves of Spain under the blazing sun and azure Mediterranean sky. |
