	הורה מדורה הוא אחד משיריו הנפוצים ביותר של יואל ולבה ואין ספק כי ריקוד העם תרם רבות כדי לשמר אותו כשיר ישראלי קלאסי. השיר הולחן ככל הנראה בשנת 1934 והופיע כבר ב-1935 בשירון מכבי ללא ציון של מחבר או מלחין. יוסף ספיבק טוען כי רבים טועים בחושבם כי השיר מתאים לל"ג בעומר - אמנם יש בו מדורה אך זה הוא שיר סוציאליסטי מובהק.
