	גרסה בעברית מימי עוד לא ראיתי ציפור שיח היסמין לבנה כמו הפרח ומקורה כל כך עדין. מיהי זו ציפור הקסם לכף ידי ראשה תרכין את ליבי לקחה בשבי כמו ניחוח היסמין. בשיבתי בדד רוקמת פרחי יסמין לשימלתי בשורה מרה הגיעה שאהובי עזב אותי. גרסה בלדינו Mama yo no tengo visto pasharo con ojos mavís, rubio como la candela, blanco como el yazmín. ¿Quién es este pasharico que en mi salón entro? Percuro hacer su nido adientro del mi corazón.

	שיר זה נכלל במחזה "בוסתן ספרדי" שכתב יצחק נבון בשנת 1969. זהו קולאז' תיאטרלי-מוזיקלי, המספר את סיפורה של השכונה הספרדית אהל משה בירושלים של שנות ה-30 של המאה ה-20. החיים התוססים של דיירי השכונה רוויים בשירת קודש וחול, בסיפורים משעשעים ובהומור בשפת הלאדינו. שירי המחזה לקוחים מתוך "ספר הרומנסות" ו"האנתולוגיה לחזנות ספרדית" של יצחק לוי. את השירים תרגם לעברית משה גיורא. ההצגה היתה מבוססת על המופע "רומנסרו ספרדי" משנת 1969 שנבון כתב לו קטעי קישור, לבקשת יוצרי המופע יהורם ובני גאון.
