| השיר ראזשינקעס מיט מאנדלען, מן האופרטה היידית "שולמית", נכתב בשנת 1880. הפזמון הינו עיבוד של שיר ערש יידי, "אונטער יאנקלס וויגעלע" [מתחת לעריסה של ינקה'לה]. בתקופת השואה נכתבו פרודיות שונות. בגרסה אחת, מגטו קובנה, גבאי זקן מצווה על שומעיו לספר לילדיהם על זוועות השואה. השיר הפך לסמל של העולם היהודי הישן. |
