סדרה של 14 הדפסי כסף מקוריים מתצלומים שנעשו על ידי הצלם פיליפ הלסמן (Philippe Halsman, 1906-1979) בקיץ 1936, בימי מאורעות תרצ"ו. הלסמן צילם סדרה זו במצלמת Rolleiflex, במסגרת שליחות עתונאית שנטל על עצמו מטעם המגזין הצרפתי Voilà שבו עבד באותה תקופה. מרבית התצלומים צולמו בערים תל אביב, ירושלים וחיפה. תצלום אחד בסדרה הוא מן העיר דמשק, שבה ביקר הלסמן באותו מסע. כל התצלומים הודפסו על ידי פיליפ הלסמן עצמו, כנראה באותה שנה שבה צולמו. בגב כל הדפס הוטבעה חותמת הצלם, בצרפתית: Ph. Halsman / 350, Saint-Honoré Paris. בגב תצלומים אחדים נוספה, תחת החותמת, כותרת קצרה כתובה צרפתית, בעפרון. התצלומים: 1. חיילים בריטים נחים בעת הפוגה בפיזור הפגנות, כנראה בעיר יפו.
