Photographs are housed in a burlap-covered box the burlap has been decorated with crewelwork with symbols and borders on four sides and the lid the names "Bethlehem", "Bethanie", "Nazar[eth]", and "Jerusalem" each appear on one of the four sides a pamphlet entitled "Souvenirs Photographiques d'un Pélerinage du Pénitence en Terre-Sainte par M. l'abbé Fromet, curé d'Angé (Loir-et-Cher)" and a list of the mounted photographs accompanies the XBD photographs no title appears on the matte or the photograph handwritten "84" on the matte refers to the number in the pamphlet None |
