Description The wodden Torah case consists of a body and a crown. The cylindrical body is covered with green velvet. Silver bands encircle the centre and the upper and lower borders of the body. The upper and lower bands bears a dedicatory inscription, while the middle is decorated with a floral pattern. Two fields between the bands are decorated by a central cartouche with a vertical design but horizontally attached and four trefoil cartouche in each corner. The composition repeats four time. Vertical bands decorated by stylizated scrolls closed it. The central plaque is decorated by a central flower and two birds in each side. The corner cartouche are decorated by a central flower The body's upper border is surmounted by a lily-like crenellation. The case is fastened by two silver hook clasps. The inner face of the case is covered with red industrial velvet. There are two round holes for the rods. The onion shaped crown is composed of a main section, a crest and an apex. The main section is covered with green velvet, to which two kind of plaques are attached. Six silver plaques decorated with a central vase and vegetal pattern are intercalated with six upper and six lower plaques decorated with floral pattern, similar to those on the body. An undulating crest mounted over the crown ends in a bud-shaped apex. The crest is covered with silver plaques decorated at the bottom with ten vertical bands bearing altenatively foliate pattern. A large ring in the middle bears two rows of geometric pattern. A whorl of flower pattern bears at the end of the crest. Ten chains hang around the centre of the crest and are carrying slit drop-shaped bells. Two iron rimon mounts are attached to the crown side. The inner face of the crown bear a dedicatory inscription depicted into an architectural frame with flowers at each side. The dedicatory inscription on the body starts at the upper border from the right of the body. It is repousse' in filled letters againt a punched background, and read
