Description The standing back-walled Hanukah lamp is made of brass and consists of a semi-circular row of candle sockets, a back wall, a shamash candle socket and legs. The eight vase-shaped candle sockets are arrayed on a semi-circular bar, supported by three legs and a perpendicular bar that projects from the base of the back wall. At each end, a side that slants outward. The oval back wall is attached to the candle sockets and is decorated with a seven branched Menorah, flanked by two rampant lions facing in, standing atop a semi-circular band which bears the inscription: "להדליק נר חנוכה" "To kindle the Hanukah light." The seven branched Menorah is in a tiered form. The oval back wall is surmounted by a five pointed coronet in its center supporting a vase shaped candle socket for the shamash.
