Description The initial word of the piyyut for Shavuot אדון אמנני (Davidson, I, א, No. 484, p. 24) is written in bold display script decorated in spared-ground technique with hunting scene and various motifs . The doe hunt is depicted in the letter "aleph", including a hooded hunter's head blowing a horn and two dogs chasing a doe. Animals and hybrids are in the rest of the letters, among them are two interlaced dragons, a winged fish and a duck. One of the hybrids is wearing a pointed Jewish hat.
