Description The cartouche encloses a scene of the bearded Ahasuerus seated on a throne under a canopy with Haman kneeling before him. Ahasuerus extends his scepter to Haman who stretches out his arm to touch it. Two scribes sit in the room in the background, by a table on which rest two sheets of paper. A guard stands behind the king's throne on the right. On the far left two men ride on horseback towards a city.
