David Solomon Sassoon (December 8, 1880 - 17 Tevet 5742) was a researcher, philanthropist and well-known collector of rare Jewish manuscripts, belonging to the Sasson family, who came from Baghdad. The collection of manuscripts that Sassoon established was considered the largest collection of Hebrew manuscripts in the world.
