Memoirs of a Polish Jew, born in 1926 in Tykocin, who describes the destruction of the Jewish communities of Tykocin, Jasionówka, and Knyszyn during 1943, and his own escapes until his capture and internment in the ghetto of Białystok. Relates his experiences in the Białystok ghetto, in the Bliżyn labor camp, in Auschwitz, and near Sosnowiec (where he was taken for forced labor in 1943-44). He was liberated in May 1945 from a death march. In 1949 he emigrated to Israel.
