'ספרו החדש של אלון דהן "נתיב הרוח". סיפור העלילה מתאר את מסעו הרוחני של בחור צעיר, הנטוע באופן מלא בהוויה החילונית, התל-אביבית של שנות ה-70 וה-80 של המאה הקודמת. על קורותיו האישיים, השזורים בהוויה ההיסטורית, הלאומית והדתית של החברה הישראלית. במהלך מסעו האישי, באופן מקרי לחלוטין, או שמא בהשגחה פרטית, הוא פוגש סנדלר חרדי זקן בירושלים, שהופך לימים למורה דרך המוביל אותו אל נבכי האמונה היהודית, במסע רוחני רצוף חוויות מיסטיות המערבות חלום ומציאות, ממדים נסתרים ורבדים גלויים, עיון במשמעויות השפה ונתח מכובד של ארון הספרים היהודי. בעלילה מפותלת, לעיתים מותחת ודרמאטית, לעיתים פילוסופית ועיונית, נגלות לעיני הקורא עובדות רבות ומוזרות, על עברנו כעם מתחדש בארצו ההיסטורית ועל עברם של גיבור הסיפור ומורו הרוחני. לצד חוויות רוחניות השאובות מעולמה של הקבלה ותורת הסוד היהודית, זוכה הקורא להצצה אל העיסוק האובססיבי של ראשי המדינה בתרבות הקאלט והנסתר, הטלקנזיס, הסיאנסים והטלפטיה. הממד הרוחני אליו הולך ומתוודע גיבור הסיפור במסעו האישי, מתגלה בסנדלר זקן, שהוא גם מומחה לאייקידו וגם צייד נאצים. גם יהודי חרדי פונדמנטליסט וגם משכיל דעתן בעל השקפה אוניברסאלית'. -- מהמעטפת האחורית.
