Ca. 2,000 Germans were living in Palestine in the 1930s. 19% were members of the Nazi Party in 1939, and many others were members of organizations affiliated with the Party. Discusses, inter alia, attitudes of Palestine-Germans toward Jews, from the banning of Jews and part-Jews from membership in German organizations to anti-Jewish violence. However, not all Germans were negatively disposed toward Jews. Discusses, also, the Jews' reactions, both to events in Germany and to Nazi activities in the Land of Israel - e.g. boycott of German films. Ch. 12 (pp. 116-123), "Planned Hostilities against Palestinian Jews, 1941-1944", discusses the Nazis' plans to deport the Jews from Palestine in case of Rommel's victory in North Africa and the Jewish reaction to this menace. Appendix 2 (pp. 150-201) presents a list of the members of the Nazi Party in Palestine.
