A catalogue of an exhibition, with a book-length text describing medieval Jewish history and culture in Spain. Pp. 157-208, "History of a Conflict", deal with the development of the religious conflict between Church and Synagogue which finally led to the expulsion of the Jews in 1492. Includes the text of the expulsion decree in Spanish and English translation. Pp. 209-224, "The Inquisition", discuss the persecution of Conversos by the Inquisitorial tribunals in Spain; the Holy Office was officially abolished only in 1834.
