Relationship with fellow students. Anti-Semitic experiences during school years. Episode: a teacher declares Hebrew a dead language. Relationship to Zionism. Rabbinical seminary in Berlin. Episode : Zionist youth movement Blau-Weiss, resignation. Episode: Prague. Language situation within the family: German with Yiddish influence. General situation of Judaism during Nazi times.
