The National Library of Israel offers a variety of services to the public. Many of these services, such as the use of commercial databases and reference books in the reading rooms, as well as guided tours of the Library, do not require payment or registration.
Along with services offered on the premises, access is provided to thousands of items online, free of charge.
Staff librarians are available to answer questions and provide assistance.
The copy center provides readers with a range of services: photocopying and scanning with state-of-the-art equipment, microfilm and microfiche scanning equipment, a place to view VCR or DVD movies ordered from the storeroom as well as lamination and bookbinding. Various products can also be purchased here.
Visitors to the Library have access to a laptop loan service. These devices can be used within the National Library building. This service is provided to registered members only, and requires a deposit.

• Groups that are over fifteen minutes late will lose their reservation.
• Do not reserve additional time slots under different members of the same group (likewise, do not use different names, pens or handwriting in an attempt to circumvent this restriction).
