NLI is a public-private partnership, combining national support and philanthropic vision.

Within the framework of its renewal, the National Library introduced a new organizational structure: a Council comprised of professionals in library science, technology and content, working under an executive team governed by a Board of Directors, led by the Board Chairperson. NLI Board members include high-profile public figures, senior Israeli scholars, and leaders in the fields of information and library science, law, and technology.
