Engraved inscription on the book binding: "Estes Autos de Fé Hypocrita/sem Caridade praticados:/He obra do alto clero/só para fazer desgraçados." In the beginning of the book, later owner of the manuscript added a handwritten note: "Apontamentos do Senistro Tribunal da Inquisição, desde o Anno de 1540 a 1669."

Incl. list of Autos-da-Fé according to the name of the Grand Inquisitor. In this list, the Register is dated into the 18th century.
