Ownership history Dr Zhiga Neumann, lawyer, b. 1894-11-15 at Caprag, Yugoslavia, and wife Bella Neumann, b. 1897-05-02 in Budapest, Hungary, Jewish refugees at the concentration camp in Asolo, Northern Italy. The collection details their experiences at Asolo, Bella's medical treatment and appeals for asylum with the Red Cross, rather than deportation to Poland. The papers were collected by Laura Luzzatto of the Communitá Ebraica in Venezia, and Chiara Renzo, Firenze.
