ארכיון יד יצחק בן-צבי ע"ש שושנה ואשר הלוי מתמקד בתולדות ארץ ישראל ויישובה, בירושלים ובקהילות ישראל במזרח. הוא כולל את האלבומים המשפחתיים, הציבוריים והמחקריים של הנשיא יצחק בן-צבי ורעייתו רחל ינאית. הארכיון כולל גם אלבומי משפחות ואוספים בעלי חשיבות היסטורית וציבורית המצויים ברשות מוסדות ואנשים פרטיים. הארכיון הוא שותף מוביל בהגדרת יעדי המיזם 'ישראל נגלית לעין', בקביעת נוהלי הסריקה והתיעוד, ובתכנים הנכללים בו ומעניק תמיכה תוכנית, מדעית וטכנולוגית למרכזי התיעוד השונים.
