Enlarge text Shrink text

After their return to Israel she taught Hebrew to Russian new immigrants in the "Dror Amit School". At the same time she was a supervisor of coordinators in the "Road Safety Program" in schools and as a pedagogical instructor at the Gold Institute. This collection brings us family pictures and landscapes of the home of the grandparents of Shalom, Yerachmiel and Sheyme Steinberg in the outskirts of Motza. It was was built in 1890 next to the "Red House" that was built by Michael, the brother of Yerachmiel and that was used as a factory for bricks and roofing tiles. Steinberg's house functioned as a winery and as their domicile. There was also a synagogue in the house. Steinberg, who was considered one of the founders of Motza was known as the "Mukhtar" of the place. There are also pictures from Shalom Ba-Gad's employment in the Ministry of Housing and of the work of Yona in the Ministry of Education.
