הסדרה כוללת גזרי עיתונים, מאמרים ותדפיסים רבים אודות אישים יהודים: דמויות ציבוריות, חוקרים, סופרים ומשוררים. סדן נהג לשמור ולתייק את גזרי העיתונים לפי שמות, פרשיות ציבוריות ונושאים ספרותיים, אותם כינה לפעמים "ערכים"; חלק מהמאגר הן רשימות והערות בכתב ידו.;מתיק 126 ועד תיק 868 (עד 788 לפי סדר הא-ב ואח"כ מילואים) המאגר הוא על משוררים וסופרים אידיים שנשמרו על ידי סדן במעטפות.;תיקים 924 - 934.1 הם גזרי עיתונים ומאמרים, שסדן אסף במעטפות, בנושאי הקהילות היהודיות בתפוצות ותרבות האידיש בן -לפי הכותרת המשותפת "אורח לרגע".
