הסדרה כוללת כמה יצירות ספרותיות, אשר נכתבו ע"י דוד טברדובסקי (1906-1968), בעיקר סיפורים על ההתיישבות החקלאית היהודית ברוסיה הסובייטית ובארץ ישראל בתקופה שלפני קום המדינה. רובם כתובים בכתב יד וחלקם מודפסים במכונת כתיבה. כמו כן יש מבחר קטן של מכתבים ממנו ואליו וקצת טורים או סיפורים בהמשכים שפורסמו בעיתונות ביידיש ובעברית.
