Scope and content אלבום בכריכת עור אדומה בגודל 22X28 ס"מ ובו 62 דפי קרטון ששוליהם מוזהבים. על כל דף, מצדו האחד, הודבק הדפס של תצלום, שחור לבן, ותחת התצלום נוסף תיאורו בגרמנית, בכתב יד. תצלומים אלה מתארים נופים ודמויות לאורך מסילת הברזל החיג'אזית, את תהליך הנחתה של המסילה, וכן טקסים שונים שנערכו עם פתיחתה. יש להניח כי כל התצלומים הופקו בידי המהנדס הגרמני קרל אאולר פאשה (Carl Auler Pascha), ששמו הוטבע בשדרת האלבום, כיוצרו. לתצלומים באלבום נוספו עוד שישה תצלומים בודדים, שאף הם מתארים את טקס פתיחת המסילה. אלבום זה נתרם לספרייה הלאומית בחודש פברואר 1934 על ידי מנהל הספרייה דאז, פרופ' גוטהולד וייל.
