Biographical summary מרדכי דב גאורגו לנגר (Jiří Langer) נולד בעיר פראג בשנת 1894. הוא נודע כסופר, פובליציסט ומתרגם, שכתב בצ'כית, גרמנית ועברית. עיקר פרסומו בא לו כמשורר עברי מקורי, שהצליח לעבור לכתיבה בעברית משפות אירופיות. אחיו של לנגר היה המחזאי פרנטישק לנגר (Frantisek Langer). מרדכי גיאורגו לנגר נפטר בתל אביב, בשנת 1943.
Ownership history האוסף הוצא מתוך ארכיון דב סדן ונרשם בנפרד בשנת 1993. כל תכולת אוסף זה הופקדה לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית על ידי יוצרו, דב סדן.
