The file contains: Imperial mandate signed by the Holy Roman Empress, Queen of Hungary, Maria Theresia (Teresa) given to Count Philipp von Batthyány (1731-1795), youngest son of palatine Ludwig von Batthyány, to serve in the Széchenyi Hussar Regiment as Lieutenant Colonel (Obristlieutnant, Oberstleutnant). Also signed by the Army General Count Wilhelm Reinhard von Neipperg and the president of the Aulic War Council Count Johann Joseph Philipp von Harrach. Wien, 10.10.1760. Paper with watermark. Big covered imperial wax seal.
