The file contains:;a) a bronze medal by Dubois, diameter 40 mm. On the obverse a bust to right, around the scientist's name, below the bust the name of the artist. On the reverse the inscription: né a Clermont en M.DC.XXIII. mort en M.DC.LXXII. Galerie metallique des grands hommes Francais. 1817. On the edge: Bronze, France.;b) a bronze medal by Dantzell, diameter 50 mm. On the obverse a bust to right, around the scientist's name, below the bust the name of the artist. On the reverse the inscription: né a Clermont (Auvergne) 1625, mort a Paris 1662. On the edge: Bronze, France.
