Assignansque suis quavis miracula causis, miraculum reliquuum solus in orbe fuit. F. Hals pinxit, I. Snyderhoff sculpsit.;b) a copperplate showing a full lenght portrait of Descartes sitting on a chair aside a table, holding a quill in his right hand and pages of a book in his left, 14 x 20 cm. Subscript: Renatus Descartes, Nobil. Gall. Perroni dom, summus mathem. et philoso. Talis erat vultu Naturae filius: Unus Assignansque suis quavis miracula causis, qui menti in matris viscera pandit iter. Miraculum reliquuum solus in orbe fuit.
