The file contains:;a) a steel engraving showing a portrait of Davy sitting aside a desk, at the top Davy's coat of arms, at the bottom the coat of arms of the Royal Society, as well as a a facsimile of a dedication from Davy's hand, 18.5 x 26.5 cm. Subscript: Engraved on steel by W.T. Fry after the original picture by I. Phillips Esqr. R.A. Published July 1825 by T. Boys, 7, Ludgate Hill.;b) a similar engraving showing the same motive, slightly different in details, 8 x 11 cm, subscript: Sir Humphry Davy.;c) a copperplate (?) by an unknown artist, showing Davy standing aside a table with a miner's lamp, 25 x 34 cm.;d) a copperplate by J. Jankins, showing a portrait of Davy in half profile, printed by Lonsdale, 14 x 21 cm. Subscript: By permission from the larger print published by Mess.rs Agneur & Zanetti. Sir Humphry Davy. BAR.T P.R.S. Fisher, Son & Co., London & Paris. At the bottom a facsimile of Davy's signature.;e) a similar copperplate showing a portrait of Davy by E Scriven, 18 x 26 cm. Subscript: Sir Humphry Davy. From the Original Picture by Sir Thomas Lawrence, in the possesion of the Royal Society. Under the Superintendance of the Society for the Diffusion of Useful Knowledge. A second copy of the same with larger margins, 27 x 41.5 cm.;f) a copperplate showing a portrait of Davy by Thomson, 17 x 25 cm. Subscript: Sir Humpry Davy, Bar.ts. At the bottom a facsimile of his signature.;g) a similar copperplate showing a portrait of Davy by Roffe, 13 x 21 cm. At the bottom a safety lamp, subscript: Sir Hamphry Davy, Bar.ts. Inventor of the safety lamp. Apparently torn out from a book.;h) a copperplate showing a sculpture of Davy's bust, 13 x 21 cm. Subscript: Sir Humphry Davy Bart.
